Beyond the Sky
Stardust Story is a Singaporean television production and media entertainment company founded in 2017. Predominantly focused on creating thought-provoking and ground-breaking stories, we aim to create programmes that will push the boundaries of local television and storytelling.
The Stardust Story team specialises in conceptualising, scripting, producing and directing quality scripted and unscripted series. Driven by creativity and ambition, the team comprehensively oversees every production process from beginning to end.
Helmed by two passionate and notable figures in the industry, Beatrice Chia-Richmond and Jaya Rathakrishnan share a combined experience of almost 50 years into the various aspects of filmmaking. The team has since produced a variety of television series for local audiences, spanning genres from comedy to romance and action.
These titles include After Love, Mixed Signals, Thilaanaa, and Pettai.
Beyond television series production, Stardust Story is also committed to delivering content that holds important messages through the use of unique and authentic storytelling. Some notable projects include our work for the
Sport SG One Day Campaign, and the opening video for the return of the AFF Suzuki Cup in 2021.
Meet Our Team
Beatrice Chia-Richmond
Executive Producer / Director
One of Singapore’s most prominent creative figures, Beatrice Chia-Richmond is a multi-award winning theatre director and actress. Her works are an explosive combination of strong text, a provocative approach, bold designs, purposeful direction and consistent critical acclaim.
Beatrice began directing in 2001. Her critically acclaimed directorial debut – SHOPPING AND F***ING won 2 awards at the 2001 DBS Life! Theatre Awards. She was awarded “Best Director”.
Jaya Rathakrishnan
Executive Producer / Writer
Jaya Rathakrishnan is a Singaporean screenwriter for the local Indian television programmes in Singapore. She has written several screenplays for television dramas. Among her most recent dramas is Vettai (Pledged to Hunt) and Vyjayanthi - award winning Tamil television dramas.
Jaya has worked with Eaglevision, Mediacorp since 2001 with eleven years of experience in television production and screenwriting. She started off as an assistant producer and started specialising in writing and producing there after.
Wendy Ng
Executive Producer
Wendy’s foray into the entertainment industry started with FLY Entertainment when she joined them in 2002 as an artiste manager. In 2009, Wendy moved to support the set up of Running Into The Sun (RITS), the subsidiary company of FLY specializing in concerts & large-scale productions. She took on a senior Producer role, leading all productions in both Singapore & Malaysia.
Since then, she continues to produce many large-scale festivals and productions, focusing on overall management.
Germaine Leow
Senior Producer
Germaine is a producer for festival, concerts, creative events and tv production. In her 12 years of producing experience, she has worked on many high-profile live shows and built up a diverse portfolio in managing, planning, executing and monitoring projects effectively.
Yeo Luan Yin
Producer
Luan Yin joined the Stardust Story team in 2019 and has since grown into a full-fledged Producer. Since then, she's successfully supported and produced eight productions from their initial ideas to the final touches.
Her key portfolio includes the two-season running children's series "What On Earth," and two animated series, "How to train your Hooman" and "The Adventures of Luggy & Zippy". Luan Yin ensures that all the projects are not only completed on time and within budget but are also full of creativity and heart.
Greys Chua
General Manager
Greys is a highly versatile individual who has been in the media, entertainment and nightlife industry since 2008. She has been involved in business management, video/movie production, event production and artiste management.
Starting out as assistant producer for theatre and entertainment events, Greys quickly grew to produce local and regional events for brands like CapitaLand Malls, AXA Insurance, Prudential , Star Cruise and Health Promotion Board.
